My name is Alice, I am 24 years old and I’m from France!

Why did you choose to study at the ESO?

I also applied to the UCO and BCOM (both in London) but ESO is the school that I felt most attracted to. From the very beginning they were the most enthusiastic, the most helpful and the most welcoming. I had a good feeling about the school and I just trusted my gut! The school location helped as well, I could not picture myself in the middle of the London buzz. The ESO looked so peaceful and pretty, it felt more like the place for me.

Did you have any specific concerns before joining the ESO?

Like anyone starting a new life in a new country, I had a fair share of questions and anxieties. Where to live? How to get to school? How to get a phone plan? Which bank to choose? I was lucky enough to be put in contact with a current ESO student who answered my (numerous) questions and I felt a lot more prepared thanks to him.

What do you enjoy most about studying at the ESO?

The location. The course is very challenging but the ESO grounds are so beautiful, calm and peaceful. It is just what you need after a mentally and physically challenging class. You can go for a quick walk between classes or just lie in the grass and take a second to breath and relax. The calm nature surrounding the ESO complements the fast-paced classroom environment.

What are your aspirations once you’ve graduated?

The ESO has opened many doors for me. I came from a sports background and although I still am very interested in that field, I am now exploring other options. I am waiting to see what the next year at the ESO will bring me, but I know already that it will lead to something exciting.

If you could sum up your time at the ESO to date, what would you say?

So far, I would describe my time here as a rollercoaster ride. There’s a lot of ups and downs but in a fascinating way. If you want to learn more about a career, a vocation, about yourself and about life in general, this is the place for you.
