I could hardly walk as I went up the front steps. After 1½ hours, (which included my medical history taken down), I was back to normal, and had no pain whatsoever. I think what I really enjoy about being a teaching clinic patient is the communication; the tutors challenge students to think outside the box and consider any connections that can be made with the symptoms you’re experiencing. And you get to listen and join in with the conversation so you can explain exactly what you’re feeling and when. PD

I’d been experiencing pelvic pain for about a year after my pregnancy, which I found quite debilitating. It was really helpful to talk about my symptoms and reassuring to know something could be done to help. There was a really good rapport between my student and tutor with lots of hands-on guidance – after 4 sessions the pain had gone!   AJ

I am using the clinic for the third time (unrelated issues), and have returned because I am so pleased with the service. The students are thorough and, following consultation with their tutors, give an informed diagnosis and treatment plan. They are polite, professional and respectful, as are the tutors.
