Graduation Day 2019

Graduation Day 2019

July 11th was a special day in the School’s calendar as we celebrated the achievements of  the ESO Class of 2019.

Graduation is the culmination of years of intense study and hard work for our students and marks the start of what should be a long and successful professional career. We were delighted to share this year’s ceremony with Ms Leonie Milliner, Chief Executive and Registrar of the General Osteopathic Council, who gave the opening address, and by the Deputy Mayor Elect, Cllr Mrs Wendy Hinder and her Consort Mr Bob Hinder.

Those studying on our full-time undergraduate programme were first to receive their awards – the Masters in Osteopathy. It was especially touching to hear students express their appreciation for their time at the ESO, with many lifelong friendships and memories formed.

M.Ost graduates were joined by students of our Danish and Russian partner schools, who had travelled to the UK to be awarded the Diploma in Osteopathy (International). Postgraduate awards were also presented to members of ESO faculty, along with the MSc in Animal Osteopathy.

After the ceremony, graduates were joined in the sunshine by friends, family and ESO staff and faculty, who raised a glass to congratulate them on their achievements. A truly rich and vibrant celebration.
