Alumni Ambassadors

Find out how you could inspire the next generation of osteopaths

The School is actively working with others to raise the profile of osteopathy and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals. We have a good relationship with local schools and careers advisers and invitations to events increase year-on-year; members of ESO Faculty are already supporting our work and we are keen to recruit members of Alumni to help meet demand across the UK and beyond.

Osteopaths are passionate about being osteopaths and that really comes across when they talk about their chosen career. Not only does this inspire people to want to join the profession, it also produces tangible benefits for the osteopaths themselves; raising their standing in the community and introducing osteopathic healthcare to a broader range of patients.

Alumni Ambassadors work with our Admissions team, representing Osteopathy and the School at careers events across the UK and overseas. Events generally involve talking to young people and their teachers at a careers stand – about osteopathy, life as an osteopath, their experience of the ESO, plus general advice about the application process. There may also be opportunities to provide talks/workshops. Guidance notes and display/marketing materials can be provided by the School.  For terms and conditions, including payment, please click on the example agreement below or for more information contact our Admissions team at admissions.eso@bcnogroup.ac.uk.

Alumni Ambassador Scheme

Our Alumni Agent scheme recognises the contribution made by graduates who directly refer new students to the ESO. A commission is paid for each independently referred student who successfully completes the application process and goes on to complete the first year of the undergraduate degree programme; alumni are welcome to donate their commission to the Student Welfare Fund if they so wish. For terms and conditions, including payment, please click on the example agreement below or for more information contact our Admissions team at admissions.eso@bcnogroup.ac.uk.
