Validated Animal Osteopathy programmes
The European School of Osteopathy is proud to announce that its Animal Osteopathy postgraduate programmes (specialising in equine and canine care) have been approved at a University of Greenwich panel event. Following a few amendments to documentation, final approval of the Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s Degree is expected in Spring 2015. The School was commended by the University for leading the field of Animal Osteopathic education.
Charles Bruford, CEO/Principal of the ESO said: “I am absolutely delighted that the European School of Osteopathy is the first osteopathic education institution to provide validated programmes that support the development of this specialised area of osteopathic practice. By offering a flexible pathway of validated programmes, the School is working towards becoming a centre of excellence for animal osteopathy.”
The Animal Osteopathy Programme Leader, Dustie Houchin, was thrilled with the impact this will have on this specialist area of practice: “Our programmes have been designed to offer maximum affordability and flexibility for the working osteopath. Validating all three programmes means that anyone interested in a career in this field, has the opportunity to work toward a credible professional qualification.”
