The Research Department at the ESO is dedicated to providing the best possible support for undergraduate and institutional research activity. The research team is headed up by Philip Bright and Dévan Rajendran. Responsibility for the undergraduate research programme sits with Philip Bright who is also the Head of Department for Research and Professional Development which includes dissertation coordination and lecturing responsibilities. The new member of the team is Melissa Jones, a PhD student with The University of the Witwatersrand, and Lecturer in Anatomy at the ESO. The team members are able to contribute a wealth of relevant experience and expertise in both osteopathic professional specific issues as well as in research methodology and writing for publication.
