International Osteopathic Healthcare Week – ESO Clinic offers free spinal healthchecks
To help communicate the importance of osteopathic care, the Clinic will be providing free spinal healthchecks through a series of walk-in clinics taking place during International Osteopathic Healthcare Week (19-25 April). These 10-15 minute checks will be undertaken by our qualified osteopathic tutors, observed by a small group of student practitioners. If a full consultation is recommended, appointments will be available at a special rate of £16.
Head of Clinic, Helen Jenkins, explains: “Many people are used to keeping an eye on their blood pressure, cholesterol levels etc but they may not think of checking the health of their spine. A spinal healthcheck is able to pick up on a variety of dysfunctions, from tensions and stresses caused by poor posture and day-to-day strains to the early signs of degenerative changes and conditions such as scoliosis (curvature of the spine); osteopathic treatment is able to help these dysfunctions and manage their effects.”
The walk-in clinics will be open on:-
Monday 20th April (All day)
Tuesday 21st April (PM)
Wednesday 22nd April (AM and Evening)
