OsteoMAP – new course starts January 2017

OsteoMAP – new course starts January 2017

Have you been suffering with persistent musculoskeletal pain for over 6 months? We are currently recruiting patients to take part in a 6-week course of treatment at the ESO Clinic.

The course (OsteoMAP) combines osteopathic treatment with mindfulness-based exercises and home practice – it aims to give patients a better understanding of their pain and help them develop new ways of managing pain so they can return to a more flexible, fulfilling way to live life.  OsteoMAP is designed for people who have gained some benefit from osteopathic treatment (or could gain benefit) but have symptoms that may not resolve completely with manual therapy alone.

The course will take place at the ESO Clinic on a weekly basis (Thursday afternoons).  Each 1-hour treatment will be provided by a qualified osteopath on a 1:1 basis (ie these are not group sessions) and will cost just £20.  Those looking to take part will firstly be invited to attend a meeting with the team to consider whether this type of course might be helpful before the course begins on 19th January.
