Professional Interest/Publications

I have a degree in Chemistry and a post compulsory PGCE. I worked as an industrial chemist for 14 years and have taught A level chemistry. I am currently studying to be a counsellor and am counselling students at Mid Kent College. I therefore help students both academically: study skills, essay writing, revision techniques, dissertation writing and pastorally: stress, anxiety, mental health issues, bereavement. I am also completing a TEFL qualification to help learners where English is not their first language.

Personal Interests

I am currently studying both counselling and teaching English as a foreign language so this takes up most of my spare time. I also enjoy reading, going to the cinema and theatre and spend many hours walking to keep fit.
