Professor Frank Willard

Professor Willard is a world-renowned lecturer in anatomy and neuroanatomy. Working at the New England Osteopathic Medical School in Biddeford, Maine USA, he has been foremost in transforming the osteopath’s view of anatomy, applied anatomy and neuroanatomical pathways and the endocrine immune response.

He has the ability to communicate complex pathways in a way that has students wanting to learn more and more. At present he is engaged in a research programme examining the role of the myofascial ligamentous system in stabilizing the lumbosacral spine and pelvis.

His work has clarified how and why osteopathic medicine works and confirmed A T Still was way ahead of his time in seeing the inter-relationship of structures.
