ESO Students at the London Marathon 2017

A group of 16 European School of Osteopathy student volunteers supported Parkinson’s UK at this year’s London Marathon.

The group, supervised by osteopath Peter Horobin and massage therapist Chris Salvary, provided over 50 well-appreciated leg massages at The Strand Palace Hotel. A Parkinson’s spokesperson commented:

“It was so good to have the ESO students there. We’ve had lots of positive comments from runners today to say ‘thank you’ for the reception and for the massage and to say what a difference it had made to how they were feeling this morning – your students made a fantastic difference.  The charity is on course to raise £320-£350,000 from the marathon and the support you provided has helped contribute to this.  Please do pass on our whole-hearted thanks from everyone at Parkinson’s UK.”
