Balance & Stability Classes - now online

For those recovering from Stroke, Parkinson’s patients or those with a history of falls

These small group classes are designed for those recovering from Stroke, Parkinson’s patients or those with a history of falls, who are keen to take part in an exercise class with a strong focus on their balance.

Classes are suitable for people who have attended an organised exercise class before, who can walk unaided and would like to maintain activity that can promote better balance.

As part of the class, we look to record progress using questionnaires and measures around balance and stability, so you can keep track on how you are doing. Please feel free to encourage others you feel may benefit from this class to enquire, and pass on the details to anyone you think would be interested.

Classes are run by a qualified instructor on Monday mornings, ordinarily at the ESO’s Boxley campus but currently online due to social distancing restrictions.

Each class lasts for 1 hour and the cost for taking part is just £4 per person, per class.

Please pass on your details and notice of interest via our Rehabilitation email: rehabilitation@eso.ac.uk.
