Balance & Stability Classes at Boxley

Balance & Stability Classes at Boxley

For anyone recovering from Stroke, or Parkinson’s patients, or for those with a balance disorder or a history of falls, that are keen to attend an exercise class with a strong focus on their balance, please pass on your details and notice of interest via our Rehabilitation email: rehabilitation@eso.ac.uk.

This class would be suitable for people who have attended an organised exercise class before, that can walk unaided and would like to maintain activity that can promote better balance. As part of the classes, we will look to record your progress using questionnaires and measures around balance and stability, so you can keep a track on how you are doing. Please feel free to encourage others you feel may benefit from this class to enquire, and pass on the details to anyone you think would be interested.

Classes will be run on Monday mornings at our Boxley site by our qualified instructor, and one-to-one support will be offered if you feel unsteady or lack confidence in performing the movements. There will also be time to socialise and make new friends once the exercise is over.

Each class lasts for 1 hour and the cost for taking part at each class is just £4 per person.
