Test & Trace - Asymptomatic testing site
Asymptomatic Lateral Flow Testing at ESO
From 4th Jan 2021 the ESO will be participating in the Government backed asymptomatic test & trace programme for Universities and will help to protect those most at risk.
This on-campus service is for ESO staff and students and without symptoms, who may be infectious but unaware. This service will help you to get tested and to quickly reassure those who are not. This government initiative has now extended to offer two Lateral Flow Device tests to staff and students on a weekly basis.
Use of Lateral Flow Device (LFD) tests could significantly improve the detection of positive cases, so people can isolate themselves and prevent the spread of the disease. Asymptomatic testing will help to protect those at high risk, find the virus and help enable us to go back to as normal a way of life as possible.
Please do not attend if you have Covid-19 symptoms. If you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms please self-isolation and Find out how to request a home testing kit via NHS

- You will need to take two LFD tests per week.
