VISITING THE SCHOOL

The best way to find out more about the ESO is to come and visit us on one of our Open Days or Trial Study Days.  Places are limited and pre-booking is, therefore, essential. 

OPEN DAYS

The Open Day starts at 9.30am and finishes around 1.00pm and covers the following topics:

•  Life as a practising osteopath
•  An introduction to osteopathy
•  Information about the course
•  Information about the School
•  Accommodation arrangements
•  Life in Maidstone
•  Entry requirements / admission procedures / fees and funding

The day includes a visit to our teaching clinic where you will be shown around by some of our existing students, who will be happy to give their views on studying at the ESO and student life in Maidstone. 

Lunch will be available from our refectory (approx. £3.00 per head). Why not take the opportunity to have an informal chat with our students? Open Days usually run from mid October to April of each year.

TRIAL STUDY DAYS

Trial Study Days are ideal for those who want to find out what life is really like as an ESO student. You can choose to attend all or part of the day.  Morning lectures start at 9.15am but, if you prefer, you can join the class after the first break, at 10.30am.  Our students are extremely friendly and you will be made very welcome.

Your morning will be spent at our Boxley site, taking part in a mixture of practical and theory lectures. Lunch starts at 12.45, when you can either join our students in the refectory, or take the opportunity to explore the surrounding countryside, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. At 1.45pm transport will be provided to our Teaching Clinic in central Maidstone.  There you will see for yourself how the clinic operates and have a chance to meet some of our clinic tutors and our third and fourth year students.  The Study Day finishes back at the Boxley site at 3pm.

Please be aware that, in order to avoid disruption to lectures, the number of places available for Trial Study Days is extremely limited.  If you have already attended an Open Day and would like the opportunity to sit in on classes then please telephone the Admissions Department.

CAN'T MAKE THE OPEN DAY OR THE TRIAL STUDY DAY?

We welcome visitors at all times, although it is advisable to come during term time. If you are unable to attend an Open Day or Trial Study Day please telephone the Admissions Department to make an individual appointment.
