ESO Research poster wins prize

The Research Working Group is proud to announce that at the recent NCOR conference 'Osteopathy - art and science' held in London as part of the 'Advancing Osteopathy Conference 2008', a poster presented by the ESO received an accolade.

Monitoring self-reported adverse events in patients attending a UK teaching clinic - preliminary findings from a prospective survey (pilot study)

The 25+ posters were assessed by Nicholas Lucas, Robert Moran and Steven Vogel, editors of the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine. The above was awarded 2nd prize based on importnace to the profession and publishability of findings. The prizes were sponsored by Elsevier and International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine.

Graduation Ceremony 2008

The ceremony, held on 11th July,marked another successful year for the ESO with two graduands receiving an MSc Osteopathy degree, three a PG Dip in Osteopathy and thirty-six a BSc(Hons) Osteopathy degree. Nine students from Russia received a Diploma in Osteopathy, twenty-seven students from Norway received a Final Osteopathic Clinical Competence Certificate and eleven students received a Postgraduate Diploma in Osteopathy for Animals.
